When will weather wonks wake up? (P#33)
Of course, there was some serious damage from whatever Alfred was, and many people have been disrupted by it. But, without diminishing their plight, let’s just have a little look through the public smokescreen built around it.
The mainstream media is running around, untroubled by any effective competition, taking such good care of everybody’s oh-so-fragile mental health. Ahh, the self-congratulations will be flowing about how wonderfully they handled this wicked threat (without thought that of the possibility it could have been geoengineered into existence by the Chinese Fleet on its way down through the Coral Sea). And they’ll likely be telling us Brisbane thankfully ‘dodged a bullet’ (that we must have fired ourselves from the direction of Lord Howe Island to steer it – see this BOM picture from https://www.facebook.com/watch/?extid=MSG-UNK-UNK-UNK-UNK_GK0T-GK1C&v=1678748429346814 . I wonder if anybody’s told the BOM girl she’s now become world famous? Robert Deutsch has even put her picture with the energy beam under her arm on his website, with the beam mockingly labelled as ‘cow farts’! And then there’s the cartoon of the chief cyclone forecaster exposed as Mr Squiggle scribbling all round an upside-down map of Queensland!
Thank God for the decades long trend of firing older, more experienced staff, content to pursue their calling without chasing promotion, who’ve seen it all before, and would resist illogical/ unscientific/ inexperienced/ outside/ political/ funding/ ideological perversions and have the experience to give frank and fearless advice, making a complete pain of themselves by bruising precious egos in resisting the latest ill thought out change brainwave that’s been tried before and failed! Thank God those change resistant dinosaurs have gone and in their place we now have such bright, keen, enthusiastic young ones with fresh ideas, chasing rapid promotion, who will now be wanting us to highly respect the little experience they’ve only just gained at our expense, without them having had time to process it!
Will this huge Cyclone Alfred embarrassment jolt our collective gaggle of news weather presenters and BOM forecasters out of their gullibility and/ or confusion? If they coordinated with Edinburgh/ Amberley, they might have a chance of finding out what military weather meddling is coming up to make their forecasts wrong, notwithstanding, of course, any military secrecy or possible gazumption by the Chinese or whoever it is that seems to coordinate the militaries of the world to act against their own peoples. And what happened with Atmospherica?
Did they ‘save us’ from the energy beam pushing it? Will they be allowed to talk about it? Or was that just a psyop too?
And now we’ve had the recent foreign election interference with the Chinese Fleet successfully delaying the Federal one via the cyclone left behind, while sailing past resource-rich WA just as their vote approaches, as well as collecting all the military intelligence from their reconnaissance circumnavigating the country. What message are they sending us? It remains to be seen if they go past Darwin, but they already have the lease on that port, so don’t need to collect any more intel on that one. And there’s a lovely railway line from there to Adelaide which you can see from satellite anyway. And with all the fear porn around the dodgy cyclone, everyone’s forgotten about them now! What a brilliant geopolitical chess move. I wonder what this signals? Trump’s running around trying to resume Gaza, Ukraine and Greenland for development and rare earth minerals, presumably for things like supply Musk’s AI and EVs and providing the military-industrial complex with rebuilding work in lieu of the current rate of weapons manufacture. Might China want to resume us or our resources?
It seems we have people pulling the strings who are quite happy to be making our politicians, weather forecasters and their television presenters look like fools by depriving them of the information they need! Where did our democracy go? It seems to have been overtaken by corporations and international organisations that are bigger than governments. See my post on direct democracy about stopping that.

This means Brisbane and Australia have just been a very neat part of a global setup to propagandise us and the rest of the world into more things that will be really bad for us, like more feudalism and the great leap backwards that the Chinese ‘Great Leap Forward’ actually delivered.
Ahh, the brand-new language dressing up the same old dreadful ideas that all seem to boil down to the same old thing – coercive control. Does anyone want to hear that, no matter how bright, shiny, new and convenient this is all dressed up to be, control and suppression is not actually new? No wonder the dinosaurs recognising this are such a pain for career prospects!
